Lemonsjø Fjellstue & Hyttegrend is located 870 meters above sea level at the southern end of beautiful Lemonsjøen on FV 51 Valdresflyvegen in Jotunheimen. There are plenty of opportunities here for great outdoor experiences, a pleasant stay and a better meal! Whether you want to relax in the mountains, climb a peak, pray to the "gjestebod" or gather colleagues, Lemonsjø, a traditional, family-run Fjellstue, is an excellent starting point.
The restaurant has seating for 125 guests and is heavily used throughout the year by locals, people on the move, cottagers in the area as well as Norwegian and foreign tourists. We appreciate that! We put our soul into good food; traditional, classic Norwegian, local, homemade, generous and tasty. Our a la carte dining offers the flexibility we want you to find in the mountains. A modern kitchen, completed in 2007, gives us the opportunity to deliver in several arenas at the same time.
Inside the Fjellstua, we are happy to help with useful information and suggestions for activities according to the season, what can be experienced in the area and the way forward. Here you'll find wi-fi and TV, tourist information, sales of useful small items, fishing and hunting licenses, maps for hikes and trails, rental of boats, cross-country skis, snowshoes, sledges and mountain driving. Downstairs there is a shower and sauna that can be used by our guests and cottagers in the area.
We are open for most of the year. The summer season extends from 17. May to mid-October. The pre-Christmas period is marked with friendly teams and a traditional family Christmas table. During the Christmas and New Year holidays, we'll be there. The winter season starts at the end of January and ends with a pleasant Easter.
